Lightning Scroll is a Tier 4 Spirit item that enhances your ultimate ability with crowd control and burst damage. It is ideal for heroes with large area-of-effect ultimates who want to lock down multiple enemies in team fights.

Passive
Damage from your ultimate applies a Stun and deals Bonus Spirit Damage after a short delay. This effect can only trigger once per target per ultimate and cannot activate on ultimates with charges.

Note: The stun delay is fixed and is not shortened by Debuff Reducer (this was previously a bug where Debuff Reducer would make the stun proc faster).
When to Buy
- Buy when playing a hero with a large AoE ultimate to maximize the number of targets stunned.
- Strong in the late game for adding disruption to high-damage abilities.
- Effective against mobile teams to force a stop in their movement.
- Do not buy on heroes with charge-based ultimates (e.g., Vindicta, Yamato) or those explicitly incompatible (Drifter, Kelvin, Mirage).
Synergies
- Seven: His Storm Cloud covers a massive area, allowing him to apply the delayed stun to the entire enemy team.
- Dynamo: Adds a secondary layer of crowd control to Singularity, extending the lockdown duration on caught enemies.
- Bebop: Hyper Beam can sweep across multiple targets, tagging them all for the delayed burst and stun.
